With the winter not-so-wonderland that’s been sweeping the world, all of the power outages and flight delays galore, it certainly becomes more comfortable staying indoors and doesn’t allow for much spontaneity. We tend to forget that there are endless options for doing activities and exercises at home. Fun and effective? Completely dependent on you, as long as you discover what works best for you.
In case you’re still trying to convince yourself otherwise- anyone without an adequate gym at home- like just about 99 percent of us- knows that you don’t need a gym or all it’s fancy machinery to get a good workout. For example, Zumba dances, Pilates/Yoga exercises, and of course all manual activities like push-ups and sit-ups, can be done as long as you’re there! You think working out sucks? You probably wouldn’t find many people that would disagree! But here’s my perspective: most people actually have the capacity to enjoy regular engagement in physical activity because there’s it’s rare that a person doesn’t genuinely enjoy at least one kind- any kind- of physical activity in life, be it soccer or skipping. So if you try out different workout styles you’re bound to find one that you like.
On that optimistic note let us drift to warmth, but a warmth of the heart. And with that appropriately cliché introduction, we welcome the cheesy but undeniably charming Valentine’s Day. February 14 next month, as it does every year, dedicates one day to pure love, and what’s more lovely than that! Take the cold by storm and snuggle your love in tight. All of us here at Avron wish you and your loved ones a wonderful Valentine’s day filled with pure love and happy hearts.
Being now officially in the year 2014, Avron celebrates its 20th anniversary!
